A lovely pin for a lovely bunch of blokes.
I'm joking, of course.
Most of you probably already know the Georgies, but for those who don't, the Chivalric Order of Saint George is a bunch of self-anointed "knights" who deserve the title about as much as I deserve one of those pretty sashes they give to contestants at beauty pageants.
Known variously by such colorful appellations as "The Witch-Bane," and "The Third Inquisition," the Georgies fancy themselves witch hunters. The truth is if they ever met a real witch, they'd almost certainly wet themselves with fear, but that doesn't stop them from blustering around town with picket signs and flaming torches, chanting slogans that would make their mothers blush.
As for the pins, it seems one of their enterprising young initiates took it upon himself to have them made without checking in with the old Witchfinder General first. As I understand it, he had a fit and told him to get rid of them. One thing led to another, and eventually they ended up with me.
I know you may not want to wear the mark of a lot of fools and bigots, but remember most people have no idea who they are--and besides, it's quite nice looking.
